Team Head Office

Our team at the Head Office in Vienna coordinates the organisation’s operational and administrative work—from Marketing & PR and central fundraising to data, events and finance management.

We continuously work on new ideas and projects to further develop our support for families with ill or injured children.

Head of Marketing & Communications

“Being ill can be incredibly difficult and distressing for children, especially when they have to be without their parents. The emotional relief that comes from closeness and a sense of security is essential to a child’s recovery and development. I know from personal experience how important and comforting it is to have loved ones around in such a difficult situation. That is why I am grateful to be in a position to help children who are ill or injured and their parents get through this challenging time together.”

“At Ronald McDonald House, it is all about heart and humanity. The opportunity to support families through their hardest times gives my work a real sense of purpose. Parents’ smiles when they tell us their children are doing better touch my heart and motivate me every day. The family atmosphere creates an emotional connection that makes my work a personal journey and has taught me the difference between pity and compassion.”

“When a child becomes seriously ill, parents are willing to accompany them through hell and back. It is painful when this is not possible because of space constraints or hospital rules, or because the parents are also needed by their other children. Ronald McDonald House works tirelessly to help families find a home away from home close to the hospital, and I am immensely proud to be part of this committed team with its wonderful mission.”
